Are leaders born or made? This week’s guest, Dave Schrader, says he believes it’s a little of both and shares fresh insights into what he calls “inside out" leadership development.
His perspectives combine extensive research and many of the best models and frameworks from leadership, psychology, adult development and spirituality. Dave’s approach is shared through his work with Full Circle Group and The Leadership Circle, which offers The Leadership Circle Profile 360-degree assessment and leadership cultural workshops.
Dave is a member of the Board of Advisors to The Leadership Circle and a seasoned leadership development consultant with over 25 years of experience supporting senior and mid-level leaders as they increase the quality of their engagement where it counts the most for strategic success. He has his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, a Master’s Degree in Experiential Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.
Through his years of leadership education, consulting and coaching work, Dave has helped his clients lead in ways that create work environments marked by ownership and creative action rather than caution and defensiveness. His highly regarded leadership development approach connects leadership effectiveness with business performance and has been considered a best-practice by The Fort Hill Company (experts in learning transfer and follow-through).
